Waves

Test drawing for a series of prints and drawings I'm working on.

Untitled | 147x147 | Pen & Ink | Daler Rowney 220gsm | Not for sale

In Absentia

"Absent" | 1720x1000mm | Brush & Ink on Canvas | Unframed | Price On Request

Did this drawing recently on a piece of canvas that I primed in 2008 and forgot about until a few weeks ago. It's called "Absent". The deep artistic meaning behind it is about missing extra maths class because you are dead in the bushes somewhere.

You can see this in real life along with some older works at the First Thursdays Pop-Up Exhibition tonight on 99 Loop Street (Cape Town).

RSVP to the Facebook event HERE. (Click maybe if you are my friend but have no intention of actually coming)

Thanks Justin Southey for photographing this for me with your cellphone.

Sweatshop

A new illustration I did a few months ago for Adformatie Podium, a dutch advertising publication.

The rationale is "Something, something, something...Advertising!"

South East

Ive got a few of these left-over prints back from the Locals Only show that I am selling.

South Easter | 420x594mm | 2 color screen print | Heavy stock paper | Signed edition of 30 | R350 | Unframed

Kay

The 5 year old me would be very happy to know that the grown-up me gets to draw effing knights having a flipping sword battle on top of a burning castle that forms the letter K. (Although he probably wouldn't really care what a K is, because reading is for butt-faces)

You can get an A2 digital print of this thing at the YAY BEE SEA Exhibition at Wolves on the 3rd of August.

Campfire

Campfire | 600X600mm | Brush & Ink on Econo-Wall Heater

Available at The Street in Johannesburg until 2 August

Plank

Did this guy for B-Fam's Plank Exhibition a while back.

(Only got the photo off Justin Southey's Camera-phone today)

The Heat Is On Exhibition

I got work in this show. I don't have a camera so you'll have to use your imagination.

(It's a pile of sticks)

Check out the FB event HERE.

Flipping Books!

Some custom Moleskine covers I did this week while in feedback purgatory.
