A Body Of Work

The "A Body Of Work Exhibition" is opening tomorrow night (25 January 2011). It is an exhibition of really difficult to paint sculptures of some guy's hand, that coincides with the International Tattoo Convention that's going on in Cape Town on the weekend. The customized hands will be auctioned for Write On Africa, a charity organization that goes around painting on creches and peoples homes in previously/currently disadvantaged communities.

There will also be other artwork by the exhibiting artists available. And Beer.

So put on your best hipster outfit and come on down to the Woodstock Industrial Centre tomorrow evening and hopefully a trendy fashion blogger will take a photo of you standing next to someone cool. You might even look at or buy some artwork.

Find the Facebook event HERE.

Photos from the & Friends Exhibition

Mel and Seamus from Revolution took a road trip across the corridor for the & Friends Exhibition last year. They took these photos. You can see more on the Revolution site HERE.

The show was a super huge success except for when I went home to watch the news and Paul gave all my beers away.

This Quilt Is Too Small

About 3 years ago my friend Johnny started making music with another friend Mandi. Then me and my friends Andrew, Edward and Paul joined in. After a while we recorded an album. Then we sat around with the tracks on someones computer for 6 months before launching the album on our last show ever in January 2009.

Now we made the album downloadable for free. Get it here:
